The Eclectic Homeschool Association has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: EHO Lite.

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. We use the information in generating visitor statistics that help us determine what our readers find interesting and for the purpose of selling page sponsorships.

Registration allows us to automate our listing service and allows support group leaders to update information themselves in a timely manner. Information provided is used to create our online listings and becomes public information. We run contests on our site in which we ask visitors for contact information (like their email address). The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor when necessary for the specific contest they have entered. We collect postal information only from actual winners for the sole purpose of prize distribution.

We do not provide our mailing lists to 3rd parties for their use.

** Our discussion boards, mailing list, and chat room are provided for adults. We cannot prevent children from disclosing information in these areas, but we will remove any personal information posted as soon as possible. It is our goal to make the Eclectic Homeschool Online a safe place for all in cyber space.

Choice/Opt-Out
Our site does not provide users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners at the point where we request information about the visitor. Why? Because we use information provided to us for the sole purpose for which it was given to us. If you fill out a form for another purpose, we don't put you on our mailing lists; you must subscribe to those yourself. We will not give your information to a 3rd party.
